Jason Kiesau

Leadership and Talent Development Manager, Aureon, Inc.
Author of FOCUSED – Your Future Starts Now! and Leading with Style Jason Kiesau

Jason Kiesau is on a mission to forever change the term we know as soft skills to Success Skills. Jason is the leadership and talent development manager with Aureon HR. He and his team are responsible for providing training and development opportunities to their clients’ leaders and employees that support their journey toward success skills mastery.

Jason has been studying personal, professional, and leadership development most of his adult life. Adversity in his early 20s made him rethink his approach to the world and motivated him to study characteristics of success.  Within months of turning 24, he created his “By 30 Vision” and knew he wanted to spend his life teaching, training, coaching and speaking.

Prior to joining Aureon, Jason had his own employee assessment business, was a diversity trainer with the State of Iowa, and coached small business owners across the United States as a business coach with E-Myth Benchmark.  He has also been active in the Des Moines community; serving as VP of Professional Development with the Young Professional Connection (2009 & 2010), a board member of Young Variety (2011 & 2012), and in 2014 Jason was honored as a Forty Under 40 by the Business Record.

Although his educational and professional experiences have been diverse, Jason says success comes down to a few basic concepts he feels people take for granted, like confidence, focus, self-management, relationship building, and strategic thinking, or what he calls “The Success Skills!” He says you can be the smartest, most talented, and hardest working person in the room, but if you lack the success skills, your success will be limited.

Whether he is with his family, working with a president of a company, or speaking to an audience, Jason’s purpose is to inspire confidence within everyone he works with. He hopes his contribution to IowaBiz.com helps readers become more confident personally and professionally throughout their journey toward success skills mastery.
